The parish joined the RSPB National Birdwatch this year. We spent an hour in each of our 4 church yards and saw a total of 51 birds comprising of the following birds:
Blackbird 3, Blue Tit 9, Wood Pigeon 12, Gold Crest 1, Magpie 2, Domestic Dove 3, Gold Finch 2, Jackdaw 3, Long tailed tits 10, Crows 2, Gulls 2, Great tit 1, Pheasant 1.
Lets make this a yearly parish activity, so we can monitor bird numbers and find ways to help these wonderful creatures.
